Greetings from the Preuit Family! We are a homeschooling family living on a small acerage in beautiful, rural northeast Oregon.  We live in the shadow of the Elkhorn Range of the Blue Mountains.  In addition to our Jack Russell Terriers, we raise and train American Quarter Horses.

Ryan is the "leader of the pack." He is a full-time horse trainer and farrier, as well as the face of Preuit Quarter Horses. Ann, Emma and Sam stay busy helping with all aspects of these businesses.

Ann is homeschooler, wife & helper to Ryan, mom to the kids, dog keeper

and very involved in the horse breeding business.

Cole is our resident mechanic, currently employed as a certified diesel technician. He's also a good hand with a horse and a rope. He is married to Lacee, the dearest daughter-in-law, and they have a precious son, Levi.

Blaine is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. He is a good hand with a horse and rope and enjoys hiking, hunting & skiing.

Emma is co-owner of Salt Flat Jacks, ably assisting Mom with all aspects of our program. She is an excellent dog trainer & loving "person" to Snoopy.  She responsible for the care and training of our shorties. She enjoys riding horses, reading and writing to her pen pals.

Sam, much like our shorties, is joyful, energetic and always eager for the next adventure. He is happy to help care for and play with our dogs and puppies. He enjoys riding horses, working with his hands, reading and "helping the guys." He has recently be promoted to "assistant trainer" to Dad.

We are blessed to live a lifestyle that gives our children the opportunity to work hard, learn to be responsible and develop their character.

As a family, we are committed to the quality of our breeding program. We look forward to developing & maintaining relationships with those who own our dogs.
